Last night at youth group we discussed the topic of want. What do we want from Jesus? At first glance one could think, "What more is there to want? He died for my sins and gave me my salvation!" What more could we possibly want right? It seemed like one of those rhetorical questions that you felt like you needed an answer to be right but didn't want to say anything. What do I want from Jesus? The word that came up first in my mind was diligence. I need to be focused on everything I do; whether it be sports, school, relationships, or just the way I live my life. I need to be ready and running every race for God.
For me, it's like a roller coaster. I feel like I'm doing great, every "click" is like music on the way to the top. But as soon as I look down and see how good things are going, I shoot off, head first, crashing back down to earth! Even after the decent the ride is not over, it is still filled with all the tight turns and dips, corckscrews and flips; all the while I await my safe return back into the station. Why cant I, instead of a being roller coaster, be on an elevator? Why not be stable, and not worry? I just pray...

chances are it's time to post again!
We lost our game as like many before:[ I got to play though! It was only because Blake rolled his ankle and couldn't really play. I got to play front row and back for two and a half games! I didn't do so hot but I try my best. I don't like how all the starters are really good because they've been in a lot of games, but when non-starters go in (myself included) we suck! We have no game time which in turn gives us less skills. Ah well, the season is almost over hopefully I finish strong. I'm really considering doing track next year though. It's more of an individual sport than a team. This way I wont feel as bad if I lose, or if I trip, or something stupid like that. Instead, I'll just no that I tried my hardest and that was that. Who knows what'll happen...not I:]
Junior research project is pretty much freaking me out. We have a little over two weeks left and I'm still not sure what it's going to look like. Something tells me that this isn't going to be one of those last minute things.
I need to pray...hard! Things have been ok lately, but that's it. I don't want to be ok, it's so bland and mundane. I want more than fine, more than bent on getting by! More than fine, more than just ok! Good stuff right there! Pray for me!

wow ok I guess that last post just wasnt' really that necessary but I wasn't sure if I'd get back here or not.
So I'm debating over whether or not I should go to yearbook camp this summer. Upside: I get to learn more about computer stuff and all that jazz, thus making next year a whole lot easier. Downside: It's $500! Awesome news: I'm going to be the senior section editor! Senior section is by far the hardest section out the whole yearbook, and I'm very proud of it. I wanted Editor in Chief, but I'm glad that it's good guys that got it though.
I'm tired, good night kids

so I'm puting something in here finally. I'm going to be honest though, I don't like it! This is really confusing and I'll probably get it eventually but it's just confusing!
Anyways, it's pretty much a huge bummer that we had to go back to school today. I was not ready for the 5:45 alarm. I was shocked and disapointed when I got to class this morning. We had the usual how was break and everything, but then we jumped right back into chemistry! As if chem in the mornin isn't hard enough (not to mention with Mr. Teschler) after two weeks of nothing!?! Ah well, I guess that's the difference between high school and middle school :/ Looking back, we had it so easy! Ah the good ol' days :]
So now I'll say, "I'll update about what I did over break later" but later will probably be in a while until someone bakes cookies again :P
PS
Disturbia...the best (suspense) movie ever! Go see it now!
